Hi,

I have a Western Digital WD2000JB that according to atacontrol is
capable of automatic acoustic management, which is disabled (also
according to atacontrol).

Is there any way to enable this under FreeBSD?

The sysutils/ataidle port appears to be able to control acoustic
management, but I've only ever used it spin down idle disks.

thanks, ataidle looks very promising - I hadn't even thought about
searching ports...
